New behaviour ladder

Students have been excited to engage with the new ladder, as part of our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) journey. Students start each and every day in the same place on the 10 step ladder; between the 4 and 5. Positive behaviours, such as listening, looking at the speaker, working hard and staying on task are expectations that will have students moving 'up' the ladder. Off task behaviours, such as speaking when a speaker is talking, not remaining on task, not following instructions will result in students remaining in place on the ladder, or being moved 'down' the ladder. The students' results at the end of each day is noted by classroom staff, and averaged over the term to determine their end of term result.
