On Friday 8th March, Nobby hosted the Central Downs Triathlon. More than 70 students from our district competed in this grueling event in which students are to complete as many laps of the circuit as they can in the 1 hour time frame. A lap of the circuit includes a 300m run, 600m bike ride and 37.5m swim.
Congratulations to the following Nobby students who received age champion or runner-up medals:
Brylee—12 years girls runner-up
Mason—11 years boys winner
Marcus—11 years boys runner-up
Ava—11 years girls runner-up
Henry—9 years boys runner-up
Ivy—9 years girls runner-up
A huge congratulations must go to every Nobby student who competed. As a result of their efforts we took home the champion school shield for the first time since 2015. Well done!
